Key Scripture: Isaiah 60:1-3 (NIV)
The Glory of Zion
1 “Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
2 See, darkness covers the earth
and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the LORD rises upon you
and his glory appears over you.
3 Nations will come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your dawn.”
General Prayer Focus: Israel
Specific Prayer Focus: For Israel to remain undivided
Tidbit of Information: “The central problem is the White House and State Department are trying to force Israel to divide Jerusalem and divide Judea & Samaria, commonly known as the West Bank. This is a mistake for numerous reasons, particularly because of Joel 3:1 in which the Lord says in the last days He will ‘enter into judgment’ with ‘all the nations’ because they have terribly mistreated the Jewish people ‘and they have divided up My land.’
Prophetically, I believe Israel will eventually be isolated from all countries in the world, especially as we approach the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38 & 39. Eventually, the Lord will wean Israel off of every nation – including the U.S. – so that the Jewish people only have Him to turn to and depend upon. That said, however, the Scriptures are clear in Genesis 12:1-3 and elsewhere that those who bless Israel, He will bless, and those who curse Israel, He will curse. We want our countries to be blessed by God, to experience repentance and revival and to be blessings to the rest of the world. Now, therefore, is the most critical time for true followers of Jesus Christ to show unconditional love and unwavering support to Israelis and to their Palestinian neighbors. We need to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We need to show the love of Jesus to every Jew and Gentile in the Holy Land. And we need to strengthen the Church in the epicenter, encourage pastors and ministry leaders, and help them fulfill Isaiah 60:1-4.” (Source)
Prayer: Father, I pray that You would give all of us a greater revelation of the intense love and passion that is in Your heart towards Israel and Your chosen people. I thank You for the hundreds of prophetic promises in Your Word where You declare the restoration of Israel and her people and how Your Son Jesus will one day rule as King from Jerusalem! But until that day, there is much strife and contention over that land and nations seeking to divide it for their own purposes. Lord, we ask that You would bring to the attention of world leaders the necessity of blessing Israel and standing with her in these end days, that they may be blessed and not cursed. Lord, would You reveal to the world leaders Your will and Your purposes for this land and may they turn to You for wisdom on how to resolve the current conflicts. We realize that as the end draws near, that all nations will turn against Your people and that there can never truly be peace until Jesus returns, but until then, we still pray for the peace of Jerusalem and ask that Your glory would rise upon her. May her land remain undivided and consecrated unto the Lord, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!

Key Scripture: Isaiah 56:6-7 (NIV)
6 “And foreigners who bind themselves to the LORD
to serve him,
to love the name of the LORD,
and to worship him,
all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it
and who hold fast to my covenant-
7 these I will bring to my holy mountain
and give them joy in my house of prayer.
Their burnt offerings and sacrifices
will be accepted on my altar;
for my house will be called
a house of prayer for all nations.”
General Prayer Focus: The Prayer Movement
Specific Prayer Focus: New Houses of Prayer being started
Tidbit of Information: The leaders of a house of prayer in Jerusalem, Succat Hallel, are currently helping start up new houses of prayer in Brussels, Belgium, eastern Turkey, and Dubai. They will be ministering at prayer summits and teaching seminars on birthing a house of prayer. They are also helping with houses of prayer in Israel, Afghanistan, and Egypt. In their recent email newsletter, they asked for prayer for great grace, laborers, joy, provision and protection in areas where there is persecution against Christians. (March 10, 2010 email)
Prayer: Father, I praise You for the work You are doing in the nations of the earth and how You are building Your house of prayer! I thank You for the leadership at Succat Hallel and for their ministry to the nations and their passion for furthering the prayer movement. Today I ask that You would truly give them joy in Your house of prayer and that You would pour out every drop of grace and provision that they need! I pray that You would bring them laborers to join in this effort – leaders, musicians, singers, intercessors, administrators – and that these people would be ones who have bound themselves to You in servanthood, love and worship. I pray for protection upon them as they travel and minister and that You would keep them safe from the schemes of the enemy. I ask that Your Holy Spirit would come on them in great power and anointing for the raising up of many houses of prayer throughout the earth, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
